General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history of being 24 year old, have 2 year old son, have problems with periods, ultrasonography found out 6 cm cyst.

As per your history you should consult your Gynecologist for proper clinical evaluation and further tests of blood related to hormones and correlate with your symptoms, signs and reports. Many a times proper medications can help you to get relief or cure. Occasionally surgery may be needed is the cyst is complex meaning has solid components also. Follow the advise of your Gynecologist and you will be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
